The Misfits was approached by Los Angeles International Airport to build a mobile-first app that showed users the variety of offerings available at the terminals as well as information and inspiration discussing onward journeys. The experience was gamified to encourage multiple use and frequent revisits to the desktop and mobile friendly destination. The Misfits also created a content marketing series to promote and disseminate key messages as well as a competition mechanic to generate significant downloads and sign ups during the early part of the launch.
