Project: X Games Event Marketing

Seven West Media engaged The Misfits to help drive ticket sales and brand awareness of the Sydney X Games in 2018. They’re aim is 75% pre-sale amongst their core demographics: Millennials, youth and parents.
We designed a series of street assaults across the Sydney CBD including free skate sessions with X-Games talent, strategic retail brand alignment, family sports day complimentary coffee cart appearances and university guerrilla marketing tactics.
With a spike in engagement on the ticketek.com.au website in the early stages of the campaign we are confident this eight month campaign will generate the desired pre-sales purchase numbers (note this campaign is still in market).
