To launch their “Ode to Mentors: A Celebration of Australian Creative Directors” campaign, Adobe asked The Misfits to design and produce an event to celebrate Australian female creative directors – women who have achieved significant success in an industry historically dominated by men.

2Execution
Each guest was asked to invite their mentor or someone who had helped them in their career. Held at Aria, in Sydney, we hosted some of Australia’s most lauded creatives including Liz Grant, President of the Australian Graphic Design Association.
The entire lunch was filmed and guest interviews edited onsite in real-time so that they could be uploaded to the client’s owned channels within minutes of the lunch concluding.
3Results
The event coverage received over 250,000 impressions across owned channels and trade media. The event was held as a ‘triumph’ by guests and Adobe plan to extend the campaign into coming years.
