Cannes Lions connects a global community of people who believe in the power of creativity – as a force for business, for change, and for good. Cannes Young Lions needed an official Australian representative for their International Festival of Creativity in 2019 and 2020.
The scope included developing a new brand, launching a new website, securing national sponsors and organising the Australian Young Lions Competition to fulfil the three categories of digital, marketing and PR. The Misfits brought this partnership to life at a local level through an integrated campaign combining digital, social and live experiences connecting the young Australian marketing community.
The competition attracted over 443 entries across both years and in 2019, 6 lucky winners were flown to Cannes, France to experience the real life buzz of the festival.
